| as the unpopular Z32, doesnt make them popular. By and large the miata is a superior track/autoX car for so many reasons, and people know it. We can all name instances of odd track cars, Dodge Dakotas, Pontiac Fieros, Trans Ams, Triumphs, MR2's etc etc, but the bigger picture says if these were such great ideas for track cars then alot more people would be using them. I mean it's not like the Miata is a hugely popular car with car-guys with its "chickcar" image. But they are snapped up regularly by trackgoers.
